What a privilege to stand on stage at the Brand Safety Summit Series in NYC today and share incredible news with the very brand safety experts who made this win possible… $10.8 BILLION. The US ad industry saved $10.8 billion in ad spend from being lost to ad fraud over the past year. How do we know this? A first-of-its-kind US Fraud Savings Report conducted by TAG - in partnership with ANA, 4As and IAB - demonstrated that the adoption of anti-fraud initiatives across the US digital ad ecosystem reduced losses to IVT by 92% in 2023 alone. From the $11.78 billion that inaction would have cost us to just $979 million in reality. This massive win was possible because industry leaders leaned in ten years ago and began fighting back - implementing standards and tools to fight ad fraud and choosing to buy through channels with those protections.
