Thrilled to announce that Ben Richards is the new COO of Branches Mission Lab & goodmakerU. ???? Ben has been providing consulting and strategy part-time with us for two years, and has helped our company grow significantly - to greater revenue, healthier operations, and a stronger team. We will experience a huge lift with him in this key leadership role as we enter our 6th year as a company. We are stepping into a lot of exciting change and I believe Ben’s wisdom, discernment, and love for nonprofit leaders will help guide us to big milestones in the near future. Nonprofit leaders (aka goodmakers) are some of the most important people in our community. They are working to solve our most pressing problems and make our region stronger and healthier. The have huge vision … but tiny budgets… and many don’t have the time and/or skillset to fundraise for the resources they need to grow their teams and stay viable. So they juggle all the things - wear all the hats. In time, they get worn out and often burn out, leaving huge gaps in our community. With our Raise NWA program, we are addressing the #1 reported need in the nonprofit sector: more resources. Through the support of the Walmart Foundation and our partnership with The Jones Center, we expect to see breakthrough for 20 nonprofit leaders representing 10 local organizations. The training will focus on leadership development, digital strategy, and individual fundraising. We’ve seen incredible results for other nonprofits who have participated in our similar goodmakerU programs; many raising double or triple what they raised the year before. We believe this type of capacity growth will have massive impact to organizations and on our community over time.
