Today, on #RareDiseaseDay, we take a moment to reflect on the millions of people living with rare diseases around the world. These individuals face unique challenges, and we are reminded of the importance of continued research and innovation in the fight for cures. At BrainXell, we are proud to play a part in this crucial journey. Our advanced cell models, including?neurons, astrocytes, and microglia, are instrumental in researching diseases that have long been overlooked. By creating these human-derived cells, we are enabling groundbreaking studies in rare conditions like: - Huntington’s Disease - ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) - Rett Syndrome - Dravet Syndrome - Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) - Familial Alzheimer’s Disease These cells offer a more accurate representation of disease mechanisms and hold the potential to accelerate the discovery of effective treatments. We honor the courage of those battling these rare diseases, and we commit to working tirelessly toward finding the answers that will lead to better therapies, improved quality of life, and ultimately, cures. ???Together, we can make a difference.?Let’s continue to raise awareness, support the rare disease community, and advance research with the hope of a brighter future. #RareDiseaseDay #BrainXell #Neuroscience #Innovation #CureRareDiseases #Huntingtons #ALS #RettSyndrome #DravetSyndrome #FTD #Alzheimers #MedicalResearch #RareDiseases

Human iPSC-Derived Neurons for CNS Drug Discovery
关于我们
BrainXell focuses on neural cells for therapeutic development. Founded in 2015 by Prof. Su-Chun Zhang with help from the Discovery to Product (D2P) program of University of Wisconsin Madison, it is based on the proprietary technology of directed differentiation of human stem cells (including induced pluripotent stem cells) to highly enriched subclasses of neurons. BrainXell is developing drug discovery / toxicology testing platforms using patient-derived or genetically modified stem cells and provides large-scale production of highly enriched, functionally specialized neural cells to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. BrainXell also aims to develop stem cell therapy for neurological injuries and diseases through collaboration with pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. BrainXell’s mission is to make our brain healthy and well.

Science in action! BrainXell's VP of Operations, took his passion for STEM beyond the lab and into the classroom, leading a hands-on science experiment for his son’s class. With his son by his side, the next generation of scientists got a front-row seat to hands-on learning. Permission given for use of photo. #STEMeducation?#FutureScientists?#BrainXell?#ScienceIsFun
