We find ourselves at a critical time in Alzheimer’s drug development, where new treatments offer hope for improved quality of life but also carry potential risks. As we've heard recently, these drugs, while promising, can lead to small brain bleeds (ARIAs) that may have serious or even fatal consequences, which can limit their broader use. BrainScope may be able to help. Our FDA-cleared biomarker using AI applied?to EEG identifies the smallest amount of blood that can be reliably seen on a CT scan with 99% sensitivity. We've proven?this with BrainScope's?emergency department customers, which have avoided roughly 50% of CTs for head injury patients, and we've demonstrated that the test can work in stroke patients. So can we do the same for ARIAs and offer a more accessible test than CTs or MRIs? We believe we can. With the?Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation's support, BrainScope has developed a proof of concept biomarker to predict who will develop Alzheimer's. ARIA is next on our roadmap and BrainScope is quickly pursuing developing these diagnostics. We can't think of a better opportunity to make a difference. Providing objective diagnostic insights that enable better patient care
关于我们
BrainScope is a medical neurotechnology company that is improving brain health by providing objective, diagnostic insights that enable better patient care. BrainScope is leading the way in the rapid and objective assessment of brain-related conditions, starting with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), utilizing multiple integrated assessment capabilities, artificial intelligence (AI), and digitization. The company’s technology supports the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Choosing Wisely? campaign to avoid CT scans of the head in emergency department patients with a minor head injury. BrainScope’s innovative EEG-based, AI-derived algorithms empower physicians to quickly make accurate head injury assessments, addressing the full spectrum of traumatic brain injuries from structural (brain bleed) to functional (concussion) injuries, providing for the first time a full picture of the injury, and doing so in less time and without radiation. BrainScope enables clinicians to triage mTBI at the point of care without radiation and with a 31% demonstrated a potential reduction in unnecessary head CT Scans. The BrainScope device is the first and only FDA-cleared, objective, comprehensive, rapid, and radiation-free assessment of brain bleed and concussion.

Recent NFL news on concussions and Parkinson’s disease has brought renewed focus on the long-term consequences of repeated head impacts in football. BrainScope’s published research demonstrated that repetitive head trauma is reflected in changes in brain electrical activity often linked to neurodegenerative diseases. This insight is crucial for advancing brain health diagnostics and athlete safety. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gukqqTE6 #NeuroHealth #ConcussionAwareness #BrainScope #ParkinsonsResearch

There is an urgent need for quantitative markers that reflect brain dysfunction for improved brain health assessment and monitoring of drug side effects. This presents quite an opportunity for BrainScope‘s deep expertise using brain electrical activity (EEG) paired with advanced AI for development of objective neuro-biomarkers. EEG-based biomarkers have many benefits over traditional markers used in healthcare and pharma today – they are non-invasive, rapid, inexpensive, accessible, and can pick up abnormalities even when no physical symptoms are present. We’re honored to have been invited to attend Longwood Healthcare Leader’s Spring MIT, a networking and brainstorming forum focused on further cultivating biomedical innovation and the advancement of medicines. Having validated outcomes of our three FDA-cleared, EEG-based biomarkers for brain bleed and concussion, we’re excited about the opportunity to meet with pharmaceutical and biotech industry leaders and discuss how we can leverage our deep learning neurotechnology platform across other CNS indications such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. #BrainScope #brainhealth #Alzheimer’s #Parkinson’s #ARIA

BrainScope has been busy this week talking to brain trauma and concussion thought leaders from around the world. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a real difference in the field.
Laurie Silver and I have had an incredible time at the National Neurotrauma Society Symposium in San Francisco! We're grateful for all the interest we've received in BrainScope and look forward to forging new relationships with those we've met. The work presented has been incredibly compelling and represents an exceptionally bright future for patient care. Also - riding in Waymo was awesome. Try it if you're in one of the areas they offer service! #tbi #concussion #neurotrauma

BrainScope was honored to present at the @USAMRDC / @BARDA Neurotrauma State of Technology conference last week. We have demonstrated the utility of our 3 AI-based biomarkers for brain bleed and concussion in the toughest market (hospital EDs) with outstanding results. Other than CTs there are no objective markers for head injury in use, and CTs can’t pick up concussion (only brain bleeds). It’s time to make BrainScope’s much needed TBI assessment technology available to our service members, veterans, athletes and families. #tbi #traumaticbraininjury #braininjury #headinjury?#braintrauma #concussion #usamrdc #barda #mtec?#dod #wbh #medicalinnovations
