The conference will address the intersections between brain injury, mental health, homelessness, legal involvement, employment, and military service, featuring speakers who are Leading The Way as experts in these fields. We wanted to highlight the article posted by NASHIA this week about how to navigate working while still receiving benefits. Some brain injury survivors work to receive additional income to help cover some of the additional costs that public benefits, while others might work to keep in touch with members of the community and build new relationships.
