Brain FUNdamentals utilizes a movement-based program to work one-on-one with children and families that struggle with anxiety, learning difficulties, sensory challenges, ADHD, Dyslexia and other social-emotional difficulties. We approach challenges from a different perspective- by addressing immaturities in the brain that affect learning and behavior. In doing so, we are able to get to the underlying cause of the difficulty and enable lasting changes! At Brain FUNdamentals, we are also dedicated to educating others about how movement affects learning and behavior. Many teachers, parents, occupational therapists, physical therapists and other professionals have found the information invaluable to their practice!

I continue to be in awe of the deeper Brain Gym?? work- AKA an “In-Depth Balance”. These type of balances ALWAYS bring the client to what they need, despite the (sometimes unusual way) we get there. Today? We found out the person needed more time in nature. And when I spoke with the parent at the end of the session? I’m currently in Portland, Oregon. Today will be day three of a 3-day training in Rhythmic Movements. I also have a very painful, injured knee. As I awoke this morning, I began to reflect on my experiences of the class so far.
