Our director of Workforce Partnerships, Missy Akin, attended yesterday's event at Wake Tech, where Governor Josh Stein signed the official proclamation. Proud to have Missy represent Brady and NCTAP in supporting the future of skilled trades!
Wake Technical Community College was honored to welcome Governor Stein and Lt. Governor Hunt to our Hendrick Center of Automotive Excellence for a proclamation making February “Career Technical Education Month” in North Carolina. The Governor also declared his desire for North Carolina to be the #1 apprenticeship state in the nation. Wake Tech is North Carolina’s largest career-focused college with over 16,000 CTE degree students and 33,000 workforce continuing education students, and a US DOL designated “Apprenticeship Ambassador” with 150 apprenticeship employer partners.
