CMH hosted a groundbreaking ceremony today (Nov. 7) for our new dialysis center in Bolivar! More than 150 community members joined us to celebrate this milestone. OakStar Bank in Springfield is financing the facility. Pulse Design Group, Kansas City, is the architect, and JE Dunn, Springfield, is the general contractor. The 10,000-square-foot, $9 million facility is expected to open in late fall 2025 and will expand dialysis services for the Bolivar community. The center will feature 16 hemodialysis chairs, a room for home dialysis education, a waiting room, and a dialysis water room. The CMH Nephrology Clinic, currently in the Douglas Medical Center, will relocate to the new facility once it opens, providing convenient access to comprehensive kidney care in a single location. We can't wait to welcome everyone back next year for the ribbon cutting!
