???????? ?????? ???????? ???????? ???????? ???????????? ?????? ????????????! Join us for a powerful community gathering where we’ll tackle one of the biggest challenges facing B Corps today. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs are facing an incredible attack. Many companies and institutions across sectors are hastily rolling back their DEI commitments, and others are removing or changing language. In this stressful and rapidly changing political environment, B Corps are facing critical questions: What does this shift mean for our businesses? How do we continue championing DEI in the face of potential risks? Now is the time to regroup, reaffirm our values, and unite together in solidarity. In this urgent community gathering, we’ll: ? ?????????? ???????? ????????’?? ???? ?????????? and clarify what DEI truly means in today’s shifting landscape. ? ???????????? ?????? ???????????????????? we are facing as a community around why we have struggled to unite around our work to support DEI ? ???????? ???????? ???????????? ?? ?????????? who have deepened their DEI commitments despite challenges—and learn how they navigated the risks. ? ?????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? to ensure our community remains resilient, committed, and effective in advancing equity, while also considering your company’s ability to tolerate risk. The road ahead may be uncertain, but together, we are stronger. Join us to learn, strategize, and collaborate around DEI. This event is collaboratively hosted by B Proud, the BIPOC Network and supported by B Lab U.S. & Canada. It is open to current B Corp employees and BIPOC and B Proud Network members. As Pride Month draws to a close and summer marches on, we wanted to reflect on the historic origins of Pride and the more recent corporate commodification of this important social movement. Our latest blog post, written by B Proud's very own Craig Spalding of B Local Colorado and Vermilion, delves into why we still observe Pride Month and tackles the issue of rainbow washing—where visible corporate support wanes after June. Discover why sustained advocacy and action are essential year-round, and how individuals and businesses can authentically support 2SLGBTQ+ rights. Join the conversation and learn about our efforts in conjunction with B Lab to support the 2SLGBTQ+ community and foster meaningful and lasting change. https://lnkd.in/gY5GQMGw

We are so happy to be collaborating with B Local Vancouver on this screening of "Not Quite That." This is such a moving film, with raw authenticity and vulnerability. Sarah White's story asks us to think about what it means to belong in a world where you don't quite fit in any of the available boxes, and pushes us to challenge our ideas of what it means to hold certain identities. Don't miss this opportunity to see this beautiful film. Plus, 50% of tickets will go to QMUNITY, a BC-based org that supports the 2SLGBTQIA+ community! Make sure you say hello to TJ Delegencia, one of our B Proud leaders who will be representing us there!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our charity drag show last week! Your enthusiasm, generosity, and spirit of unity helped us turn a night of vibrant performances and art into a powerful act of support for QMUNITY. We are thrilled to announce that together, we raised over $3,700 CAD! These funds will go a long way in supporting QMUNITY's vital work in improving the lives of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This event was more than just a showcase of incredible talent; it was a testament to the strength and solidarity of our community. Your support made all the difference, and we couldn't be prouder of what we achieved together. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to DJ Octopussy (Julie Fahnestock), our amazing drag performers, Carrie Dawn, Scarlett Rosé, and Genesis, and guest marketplace vendor Embroidered Ham (Jamie Sastaunik). Your presence added so much magic and energy to the evening, making it a memorable celebration of queer joy and inclusion. On behalf of the B Proud network, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the performers, volunteers, and attendees.
