?? Today is World Mental Health Day ?? Boys to Men Mentoring is committed to tackling the mental health crisis affecting young men. The statistics are alarming—boys are diagnosed with ADHD twice as often as girls, make up 70% of failing grades, and have a suicide rate four times higher. Many of these struggles are linked to a lack of positive male role models and emotional outlets. At B2M, we provide a safe space for boys to express their feelings and struggles, helping them build emotional resilience and confidence through mentorship. Just 1–2 hours a week can make a world of difference. Join us in supporting the mental health of young men. ? August was a sports-filled month for Boys to Men! Our 8th Annual CaddyHack Golf Festival was held on August 5th at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club. 216 golfers, 20+ bands and entertainers, and 30 local food and beverage vendors made it a hole-in-one event raising $225K! A special thanks to our Chairman, Ernie Hahn, all our sponsors, vendors, volunteers and staff! ? As part of our Civic Leadership Program, qualifying program participants were treated to the "Best Seats In The House" at a Padres game and spent some time behind the scenes with Coach Shildt. Thanks to Angela LaChica, LaChica Sports, the Players Coalition and Jerome's Furniture for making dreams come true! ?? ?? Exciting News! ?? We are thrilled to announce that Boys to Men Mentoring has been awarded a generous, multi-year grant totaling $50,000 from the Players Coalition! ?? This funding will significantly support our mission to provide mentorship and guidance to underserved high school and middle school boys, helping them develop into responsible, self-sufficient men. The Players Coalition, founded by professional athletes, is dedicated to making an impact on social justice and racial equality, connecting low-income youth to the resources they need to become the best versions of themselves. “This grant represents a significant milestone for Boys to Men Mentoring and will have a lasting impact on the lives of many struggling teens,” said Rose Courtney Executive Director. “The funding will allow us to expand our programs into more schools and reach more boys in dire need of guidance and support.
