At Boys to Men Mentoring, we believe that growth happens outside of comfort zones. Adventure Mountain Weekend (AMW) is a transformational experience for the boys in our program who have shown dedication to their personal growth. Through outdoor challenges, mentorship, and deep connection, they step into a new level of self-discovery. By the end of the weekend, they are recognized as journeymen—continuing their path toward becoming the strong, good men they strive to be. On January 7th, Boys to Men Mentoring proudly celebrated I Am a Mentor Day by launching a campaign to honor our 115 incredible mentors and inspire others to join our growing community. ??? Why does mentoring matter? ?? 92% of mentored youth are more likely to volunteer in their communities. ?? 75% are more likely to take on leadership roles in clubs or sports. ?? 22% are more likely to feel a strong sense of belonging growing up. ?? 74% say their mentor played a key role in their future success. ?? 85% credit their mentor with helping them navigate school challenges. ?? 58% feel supported in managing mental health through mentorship. ?? 60% of individuals under 40 still turn to their childhood mentors for advice. Mentorship has the power to transform lives, creating lifelong ripple effects of growth and success.
