Last week, we took a team of board members, club staff, and executive leadership to BGCA's Southwest leadership conference in OKC. This conference marked a significant milestone for us, as it was the most prominent team we have taken to a conference in over five years. Combined, we racked up 96 hours of professional learning. This knowledge does not just stay with those who attended; our team members collaborate to share what they’ve learned with their peers during our monthly team meetings, ensuring that the entire organization benefits from this experience. We are so thankful to our funders who made this possible by prioritizing dollars towards nonprofits that have professional development dollars. Our learning focuses this week were: ? Board Members: Safety, Board Governance, Strategic Planning, and Sustainability. ? Club Staff Professionals: Teen Engagement, Workforce Readiness, and Club Culture. ? Executive Team Leaders: Strategic planning for organizational growth, impact, and resource development.
