On Friday, our PreK classes celebrated their Fall Feast! And, tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26th, we will host our annual Clubsgiving event. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1–4, and the second leading cause of unintentional death for children ages 5–14. Children 5 and under are especially vulnerable. Today Nov 14 2024 marks my 10 year anniversary serving as CEO of BGCNW. I have been blessed to serve this beautiful community, adding joy , purpose and love to my life . Thank you to the Club team, board of directors, families, government/business leaders and especially the kids . Together we improve lives. As CEO I have increased current assets by 990% , successfully secured funding for mental wellness for youth organizations throughout the state , implemented a robust wellness program at the Club including on site clinicians, launched a Head Start preschool program, increased staff by over 30%, increased community engagement by 38%, and spearheaded advocacy and leadership programming to include legislative analysis, reviewing, drafting and presentation before NYS and National leadership. We’re excited to announce that BGCNW has been awarded a $1000 sponsorship from our local Chevrolet dealership, Mount Kisco Chevrolet, and the Chevy Youth Sports Program!
