Today is the official FIRST DAY of summer programming ?? in our Columbus and Newark Clubs! (Our Marion market opened for summer on June 3rd). A special welcome to all our awesome members who will be spending the next nine weeks with us learning and growing, making memories and friendships, and building great futures! We're so excited to share this time with you!

It's graduation season ??at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio!!! We are celebrating 24 graduating members in the Class of 2024!!! Highlight: Congratulations to Mackenzie! She has been offered $2,500 in scholarships & grants! We are so proud of her and all of our 2024 graduating class members! Once a Club member, always a Club Member! Did you know Club members become Alumni upon graduation? They join a nationwide network of professionals ready to connect, support one another, and give back to the next generation of Club kids! As part of Kroger's Zero Hunger Zero Waste initiative, @krogerco provided Club kids the opportunity to participate in a planting day at the Highland Youth Garden to help end hunger in the Hilltop neighborhood. Our 3rd - 5th graders at the J. Ashburn Jr. Clubhouse learned healthy eating habits and enjoyed getting their hands dirty while planting vegetables for the season. All food grown in the garden is offered to Hilltop neighbors through the Garden Markets and other programming. Thank you, @krogerco, for teaching our kids how to plant a garden. You're support helps Club kids GROW ?? up living #healthylifestyles!
