Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor

Last week, our Career Academy participants made the most of their day off from school with a visit to the Cedar Rapids Police Department! Club members had the opportunity to learn more about career paths in law enforcement, ask questions, and see firsthand what it takes to serve and protect the community. One member, who dreams of becoming a police officer, was especially excited see just what it’s like inside the station! A big thank you to our Board Member, Captain Abodeely and the Cedar Rapids Police Department, for welcoming our kids and inspiring them to chase their career goals!
