We are building a Clubhouse in Great Brook Valley!
It’s official! Exciting news from the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester - the launch of a transformative campaign, "A Club to Call Home," to construct a cutting-edge 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Great Brook Valley. This initiative will be the perfect match to Worcester Housing Authority's redevelopment plan, set to include 527 new apartments with expanded park and open spaces to create a vibrant community hub. In an area considered a "youth development desert," this Clubhouse will be a vital addition. The Boys & Girls Club is the sole youth-serving agency in the Great Brook Valley/Burncoat St./Lincoln St. area, home to thousands of youth, and yet due to our space limitations, we can only serve 50 kids a day. Investing in this project is crucial as the Club aims to address an equity issue. Let's come together to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Join me in supporting this initiative and help bring our kids' dream of their very own Clubhouse to fruition. https://lnkd.in/e2E-QRv3 #BoysAndGirlsClub #YouthDevelopment #CommunityBuilding

Please consider supporting our Club’s food pantry.
Local friends and colleagues: Our food pantry at the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is running low on supplies. We offer a backpack program for youth in need of weekend food, provide food and toiletry boxes for individuals and families, and distribute special holiday boxes. Your donations are crucial for us to support our community. Please consider contributing whatever you can. Thank you in advance for your support. #foodequity #foodpantry #foodforkids

Our kids, staff, board, volunteers and supporters are our Whys! We love and are thankful for our Club community! #greatfuturesstarthere
My Why. Working at the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is a privilege. Every day, I am inspired by the "Why moments" that drive me in my career. Surrounded by a team of dedicated staff, board members, volunteers, and supporters, I find fulfillment in supporting our remarkable kids and teens. Last night, at our 135th Annual Meeting, honoring our graduating high school seniors' accomplishments and welcoming three exceptional former Club kids as inductees into our Alumni Hall of Fame were truly special "Why moments." What's your Why?
