Box Clever x Airlift x ZEISS Microscopy have co-created the next generation of the Red Dot Design award winning software. The new and improved UIUX grid of navx 2.0 is designed to empower researchers to create images and 3D models to advance their research across a broad range of industries. Our team developed AI-powered streamlined workflows, improved usability, a new Scout & Scan dashboard for clarity of path, enhanced visual hierarchy, and continued building on ZUI for a cohesive look and feel. ZEISS truly make the world's best microscopy tools, and their Versa series is now powered with world-class software! ???? ???? Irrigreen teamed up with Box Clever to establish themselves as the premium irrigation system of choice. We designed this new irrigation Controller that reimagines the experience for homeowners, installers, and gardeners - all in a physical and digital design that is modern, ownable, and scalable. Controller 3 was designed from the inside out and the outside in. Irrigreen’s willingness to embrace ground-up innovation allowed us to challenge the company to re-architect every aspect of the system layout, all in service of delivering a more intuitive and elevated experience from Install, to Set Up, to Use. The result is a new physical and digital flagship product, establishing Irrigreen as a consumer focused, design forward company. We all knew we could do better, so we did! Led by Box Garden Ventures, Box Clever created Shorebird’s name, designed the brand identity system, led the product strategy, and designed the flagship product The Shorebird Beach Chair, which is now in full production and shipping. This innovative design reflects our commitment to positive impact. The Shorebird Beach Chair is made with quality materials and is designed to be serviceable and configurable to extend the life of the chair. The entire chair is meant to be updated over time: ?? The fabric easily comes off and can be cleaned or replaced. ?? The frame's 3 subassemblies can be repaired if they are damaged. ?? The rope can be restrung with a range of rope types.? ?? All materials are environmentally conscious and uncompromised. ?? The frame is made from quality teak? ?? The fabric seat comes in a range of textiles including recycled materials. ? The rope is made from recyclable material.. Created to deliver maximum relaxation, the chair’s signature touch point is the brass sailing-inspired cleat, which allows the rope to be adjusted and locked in place to set the recline angle just how you like it, all while comfortably sitting in the Shorebird Beach Chair. We designed the chair to compactly fold up and be easily to carried to your favorite outdoor spots. We also developed a patent pending carry strap, to support carrying the chair with two backpack straps if you need both hands, or the two straps convert into a single shoulder strap. At Box Clever our mission is to create a positive impact in the world through the power of design, which aligns perfectly with Caraway’s mission for a non-toxic modern cooking experience that supports healthier living. Caraway Home teamed up once again with Box Clever to?reimagine the 100+ years old cast iron production process, to create a modern collection of beautiful pieces designed to last just as long, that?don’t require seasoning or complicated care instructions. Cooking with cast iron is visceral and each piece required meticulous refinement to ensure the handles and supports are fluidly blended into the main bodies. Each pan and dish serves a specific purpose and is optimized for use with and without a mitt due to the high cooking temperatures unique to this material. The final design is the latest evolution of the Caraway design language, now extended to this new stunning material. Our design philosophy was clear in wanting to highlight cast iron's natural beauty with the exposed material on the handles and rims. The collection features newly developed colors that complement the rich, dark tones of cast iron and also includes bespoke wooden organizers to elegantly support both display or storage use cases.. Box Clever created Box Garden Ventures to partner with and drive the creation of mission-driven companies dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. Fox Fold is a new portfolio company profiled in this ‘making of’ video: https://lnkd.in/gZDqw9rG Fox Fold’s focus is to create positive impact by reimagining the toilet paper experience (and traditional facial tissue box) which have been unchanged for 100+ years and account for tremendous waste globally. Fox Fold in partnership with Box Garden Ventures and Stephen Gould, have developed innovative toilet paper and facial tissue dispensers that lower annual costs and reduce waste by addressing partially used discarded toilet rolls. We co-developed custom bamboo folded tissue bundles, for a soft, premium experience. Bamboo was a natural choice compared to trees, growing 15x faster, requiring less land, fewer fertilizers, and generating 30% less carbon when converted to tissue. Box Garden Ventures partnered with Fox Fold to bring their idea to life, by bringing our design of business superpowers with our player/coach model, de-risking the dev process based on our DFM experience and network. Key areas of impact: 1. Design Strategy. We created two flagship products in 14 months, solving for systemic tissue-related pain points in the hospitality industry. 2. Products + System. We designed both the toilet and facial tissue products, plus the paper sizing and portioning system. 3. Decor driven Design. We developed a design platform that supports a level of customization sought after by hotel brands. 4. Installation and Serviceability. We designed the tabletop and wall mount units to be easy to install, highly serviceable, and able to refreshed in the field. 5. Brand Identity System. Our brand team designed the modern, impactful brand identity system. 6. Product Packaging Design. We designed packaging with a focus on elevated presentation. 7. Trade Show Demonstrator. To showcase the experience and build brand awareness we designed a bespoke display for the Fox Fold team to use at industry events. ? Overall, Fox Fold has successfully launched with growing industry adoption, in part due to our highly collaborative approach to creating better products and systems. At Box Garden Ventures and Box Clever we have a broad array of capabilities we can bring to building new ventures, and we believe our engagement model demonstrates a clear path for creatively growing companies of the future.
