The historic Beverly Bridge in Beverly, WA, was featured on TVW Washington's Public Affairs Network's My Favorite Places. As the prime consultant and engineer of record, Bowman led the bridge’s rehabilitation, replacing old railroad ties with pre-cast concrete deck panels and adding custom-designed steel railings for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians. Bowman’s work with North Carolina’s Center for Geographic Information and Analysis (CGIA) will support the state’s 911 board, ensuring dispatchers have the data they need to improve emergency response times. Beyond public safety, state agencies and local governments will use this imagery for transportation planning, disaster recovery, economic development and more. #TeamBowman in Lincoln, NE, proved they’re tough enough for the cold! The group participated in their 6th Polar Plunge, braving 17-degree temps and 30 mph winds to raise money for the Special Olympics Nebraska. Bowman celebrated the grand opening of its new Lexington, KY office with an open house on Feb. 6. The event welcomed new and existing clients, local officials, community leaders and even prospective employees to the newly established downtown space. Attendees had the opportunity to network, tour the office and connect with Bowman team members from across the region, including representatives from our Louisville, Nashville and national offices. Located in a renovated historic building on Main Street, the Lexington office will serve as a hub for landscape architecture, planning, civil engineering, structural engineering and surveying services. As Bowman strategically and organically expands its team, the space is set to become a key player in the community. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event a success.
