We’re closing out Women In Construction Week by celebrating the incredible women at Boulter who help drive our success every day. Whether working behind the scenes or strengthening customer relationships and fueling business growth, these women play a vital role in our operations. To the women of Boulter—thank you for everything you do! Theresa Boulter, Michele Rhoda, Jordan Wheatley, Brittany Bachman, Ruth R.

Get to know our new VP & COO Kevyn Rustici! ??What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you? I love to read. I read 38 books in 2024, all non-fictions. I also have a hidden obsession with LEGOs. I’ve been nurturing my oldest son’s interest because I secretly love building them, even though the box suggests a different age group. In addition, I express my creativity through cooking, using recipes only as a starting point before letting my intuition guide me. I especially enjoy the challenge of transforming random fridge finds into a delicious meal. ??What’s your guilty pleasure TV show or movie? One of my favorite movies of all time is Remember the Titans. I love it because it’s filled with powerful lessons in leadership and teamwork with how they can work together to overcome adversity in order to win. Bringing seemingly different worlds together, setting aside their differences to be victorious, with each teammate embracing one’s unique strengths to build a team committed to achieving success. This film resonates with me as it mirrors my own belief in the power of collaboration, trust and commitment. ??If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Perhaps it’s not a surprise, but pasta with red sauce is the meal I could happily live on for the rest of my life. No two sauces are the same, each has its own unique style and flavor, making it a versatile dish that keeps me coming back again and again. ??What’s one thing you can’t start your day without? I begin my day with centering meditations and prayer to align my mind, body, and spirit. While coffee is a close second, that mindful start sets the tone for tackling daily challenges and embracing new opportunities. ??What’s your favorite way to celebrate a win? I love celebrating wins as a team. Reflecting on our success together—not just by understanding every aspect of the project, but also by appreciating and recognizing the unique contributions of each member, prepares for even more success in the future. ??What’s the best piece of advice you’d give your younger self? Life is a journey not a destination. Embrace each moment, challenge and situation because it is in these moments you will learn and grow the most. Always remember to be you, embrace who you are and never sacrifice your values, interests and beliefs to fit into someone else’s box. There is only one you. Never change and remember to always have fun.

Struggling to hire skilled labor? You’re not alone. The days of workers lining up for open positions are long gone. Now, the job market favors employees, giving them more bargaining power than ever before. Meanwhile, manufacturers are left scrambling to meet production demands with limited staff—leading to more equipment failures, costly downtime, and an increased risk of workplace injuries. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to tackle this alone. Outsourcing maintenance—whether through a long-term labor loan or a scheduled preventative maintenance shutdown—helps keep your operations running smoothly, reduces downtime, and ensures your equipment stays in top shape. Earlier this week we hosted high school students, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at our business and introducing them to the world of skilled trades. They explored different parts of our operation and spoke with employees about their career journeys. We're excited to welcome these students back this summer for our summer internship program! Know someone who might be interested? Send them our way!
