We love climbing and movement. This is our project to build the world's best climbing gyms. Bouldering Project offers climbing, movement, and community to all, and when you walk through our doors, you'll feel it. We create fun, inspiring, and inclusive spaces where people gather, ignite projects, and engage in health, friendship, and purpose. We believe that climbing belongs to all of us and that the power of play brings us together and adds meaning to our lives. Bouldering Project began in 2011 and now encompasses 10 gyms across Seattle, Austin, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Brooklyn, Boston, DC, and Tempe, Arizona. We continue to grow in new places because we believe Bouldering Projects make cities better and lives fuller.

I took my formal knowledge of lighting, and made it whimsical yet deliberate, and maybe even a bit off the wall (wait.. pun intended?!). This week, Bouldering Project announced the addition of Kevin Jorgeson, to its leadership team. Jorgeson, a globally recognized climber for his ascent of El Capitan’s Dawn Wall, will take on the role of Head of Product, where he will oversee climbing, yoga, fitness, community building, and programming. Observing the impact of experts like Kevin in roles at gyms and wellness centers, including The Bouldering Project, is fascinating. It reflects a trend where fitness and wellness spaces are not just about physical activities but are evolving into communities of inspiration and learning. These collaborations with seasoned pros are reshaping the industry, offering experiences that go beyond the conventional, and deeply engaging those who partake in them.
