  • "But real strength comes in opening up the conversation—in finding a space where we can reflect, reset, and reconnect." ?? ?? ?? Say it louder for the people in the back! We live in a world where open and honest conversation around struggle - the toll it takes, and WAY we struggle - is not welcomed enough. If we don't allow space for ourselves and others to unpack, we invite disconnection and continue on this path of isolation, deep shame, and diminishment. Lives are lost in the quiet space between a casually asked "How are you?" and a hesitant but unquestioned "I'm good." Ask more questions. Be curious about the people you've chosen to support you and be supported BY you. Reach out, and if someone reaches back...listen with your whole heart. If open and honest conversation doesn't exist in your circle yet...be the one who changes that.

?????The Ritual of the Cigar from the Curing Barn: My Gateway to Mental Clarity ?? The LoveLOFB movement: In a world that never stops moving, a premium cigar is more than just a smoke—it’s a ritual of mindfulness, reflection, and connection. ??? The slow cut. ?? The deliberate light. ?? The first draw—calm, unhurried, intentional. For men, mental health is often overlooked. We’re taught to be strong, to push through, to stay silent. But real strength comes in opening up the conversation—in finding a space where we can reflect, reset, and reconnect. That’s why LoveLOFB is on a mission to smash the stigma of men’s mental health. We’re not just talking about it—we’re backing it up by donating 40% of our profits to men’s mental health charities, including Boulder Crest Foundation supporting veterans and first responders in their healing journey. A cigar doesn’t rush you. It demands that you slow down, breathe, and be present. And in that moment, we find clarity, brotherhood, and strength. ??Join the movement. Join the League. Light up with purpose. Let’s change the narrative together. ? Visit https://lovelofb.com/ Adam Levine 亚当·勒维恩

  • We can't keep struggling alone. We can't. When we go through difficult times, we tend to have three shared thoughts: 1) Something is wrong with me. 2) No one will understand what I'm going through. 3) I may never be right again. These are incredibly isolating but NORMAL responses to going through really messed up stuff, and in our ideal world - the world we're building together - going through those experiences and feeling this way is recognized as a normal and predictable part of life instead of a source of shame and silent burden. It's a world where you don't hear people say "Oh my God, I thought I was the only person who had this experience" because we can all understand that LIFE means STRUGGLE, and that STRUGGLE can lead to wisdom, strength and growth if we begin to allow ourselves and others to be open and able to talk about our experiences and the lessons we've learned without shame or a sense of diminishment. __________________________________ Browse The Bridge Series in our PTG Library https://lnkd.in/eAhD3Crw #posttraumaticgrowthtraining #THISisPTG #warriorpathh #ptgtraining #StruggleWell #PTG #posttraumaticgrowth #choosegrowth #warriorpathhfamily #strugglewellfamily

One of the key points to remember about PTG is that struggle has value. A favorite quote of ours is from 500 BC Athenian general and philosopher, Thucydides, and it says "We must remember that one man is much the same as another and that he is best that is trained in the severest school." Thucydides realized that his soldiers were better and wiser upon returning to their communities from war BECAUSE of the experiences they had on the battlefield - not in spite of them. They were wise in ways that the community wasn’t about what truly matters in life. Their task was to make sense of their experiences so they could share those lessons with the rest of the community. Like those ancient warriors, our struggles are inevitable, have immense value, and the wisdom we gain from examining those moments contributes to the growth of our entire community. Make your struggle matter. __________________________ #StruggleWell #WarriorPATHH #PTG #PosttraumaticGrowth #THISisPTG #PTGTraining #PosttraumaticGrowthTraining #ChooseGrowth

  • New article on the Press Page! Helping Veterans on the Path to Posttraumatic Growth https://lnkd.in/eFGVPrjZ ________________________ “I firmly believe that the most important ingredient in any human being’s life is hope,” he said. “Hope that how things are isn’t how they have to be. You have to know that post-traumatic growth exists in order for it to happen. You have to know it’s OK for good things to happen after really bad things.” Losing that hope can cause a chain reaction. “Our thoughts spiral in a negative fashion. We think about what did we do to deserve this?” Goldberg said. “Is it ever going to be good again? Either we can’t feel, or we feel deep despair. We feel profound anxiety. And we engage in actions that are designed to help us find some measure of relief. Relief from the pain, relief from the reality, relief from this notion that life’s never going to be good.”
