Beginning on Friday, Feb. 28 to Monday, March. 10, the Jay Road median, between northbound and southbound CO 119/Diagonal Highway, will be closed to all modes of transportation. Jay Road and CO 119 will be a right-in-right-out intersection during this time. This closure is required for crews to install the bikeway underpass at Jay Road. Shoutout to University of Colorado Boulder’s vanpool program on topping 100 riders! ?? For the first time in its 10+ year history, it has 20 vans that bring over 100 employees to work. The majority of riders are frontline service employees who work shifts that start or end when RTD buses are not running. Fun fact: the primary languages spoken by vanpoolers include Lao (31), Spanish (30), English (16), Nepali (13), Chinese (3), Tibetan and Arabic. The City of Boulder has designated 7 new priority corridors for automated speed enforcement to support travel safety. Citations will begin on March 1, 2025. The streets with automated speed enforcement include parts of Broadway, Folsom Street, Lookout Road, Pearl Parkway, Spine Road, Table Mesa Drive, and Valmont Road.
