Labor Day is rooted in the late nineteenth century when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being. The Boulder JCC wants to thank its staff and faculty, board and committee members, and volunteers for all that they do. The Boulder JCC would not function in the amazing way that it does without the insight and knowledge of these amazing people.
