Today, #BotsIQ hosted two tours — one for veteran team, Hempfield Area School District at Stellar Precision Components and the other for rookie team, GREENSBURG CENTRAL CATHOLIC JUNIOR- SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL at General Carbide Corporation. These experiences are the first step to connect the skills and knowledge gained in BotsIQ to the realworld. As Mercedes from Hempfield shared, “I've enjoyed seeing real people working within manufacturing. The ideas of being able to do apprenticeship and having those opportunities makes manufacturing a more welcoming environment that I could see myself working in at some point in my life.” BotsIQ is proud to play a role in connecting youth to local companies and build the future of manufacturing. #ManufacturingMonth Manufacturing Day Pittsburgh Chapter NTMA
