We're #hiring a new Employment Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to advising returning citizens for career development, job readiness, and employment opportunities, the Employment Specialist will develop and maintain partnerships with networks of employment and job readiness providers; create grants, Request For Proposals (RFP), Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU)/Memorandum Of Agreements (MOA) for opportunities; and advise the Executive Director and Director of Programming & Strategic Initiatives on matters affecting returning citizens in the workforce. Earlier this week our friends from CITY CHURCH BOSTON dropped off 100 "Welcome Back"-packs stocked with essential items such as clothing, toiletry items, and pre-loaded Charlie Cards for our community! We joined Pastor David W Hill and his team at Brighton Music Hall a couple weeks ago to assemble the backpacks, and we're grateful to have partners like City Church to collaborate in supporting Boston's returning citizens ??

We recently introduced TWO new Reentry Case Managers to our team, so we wanted to give them a formal introduction ?? Divad, Ivone, and Joanna work closely with returning citizens who have registered with the ORC to provide individualized services such as insurance registration, college applications, obtaining a MassID, and more depending on an individual's unique needs.
