We are officially over halfway through our Boston CASA training! Our volunteers have been learning, growing, and gearing up to make a real impact!

Boston CASA promotes and protects the best interests of children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect. We train and support community-based volunteers who provide a voice to children in the court system so they may thrive in a stable environment. Boston CASA fulfills this mission by recruiting, training and supervising volunteers from the community who are appointed as a child’s guardian ad litem (GAL), to protect and promote their “best interest” while ensuring they have access to safe and permanent homes. CASA Volunteers come from all walks of life. They have a variety of professional, educational and cultural backgrounds. They are selected on the quality of their objectivity, competence, and commitment.

Oh my YAB!!! ???? If you didn't know, you know now! The YAB year of 2025 has started! As they finished their first month discussing leadership, they also hit the ground running with Small House ??, a special partnership doing get-to-know-you activities! They also participated in a panel for our upcoming CASAs in training!! Stay tuned for more! ??????

February's CASA of the month is Aiko! "I became a CASA because I wanted to help make a positive impact in the lives of youth in our community; before learning about CASA, I didn't realize that volunteer opportunities that would allow me to have this type of impact existed. The more I learn through my experiences as a CASA, the more I understand how vital a CASA can really be in advocating to address the needs of the youth and families that we work with."
