We learned a tremendous amount about the reliability, flexibility, and compactness of the system and where it offers a competitive advantage amongst its rivals in the industry. We witnessed the logic of how totes are pulled and restacked in order to prioritize the location for higher moving parts in the system. Our team was part of a run-through of some robot and tote storage tools that can be used, and we will be using them in future systems considering this technology. Earlier this summer, we had the honor of playing alongside 26 veterans competing for 5 spots on The Simpson Cup team. We proudly support On Course Foundation USA, the nonprofit that hosts this event and helps vets thrive through golf as a career. Congratulations to our playing partner Justin Castellanos, who qualified for the 2024 US team playing at Shinnecock CC this year. The highlight of the night was hearing Nick Kimmel’s story – he is a triple amputee who has re–established his love for golf as a means to feed his competitive spirit and reconnect with vets – a truly inspiring and impressive person. Plus, he can hit his drive between 180 to 200 yards!

Our team recently participated in a Lunch & Learn with Tom Bensley and Patrick Peplowski from PeakLogix. The Peak team shared their perspective and statistics on the current and future state of warehouse automation and the correlation with staffing difficulties in some of the markets they serve. This opportunity gave us a chance to reconnect on a project we recently finished in Dallas with PeakLogix where we added to an existing conveyor and sort system with extremely limited downtime in transition.
