When youre lucky enough to work with this team the “possibilities” are endless!
As a CMO at a start-up, you have to wear a lot of hats. You don't have big brand budgets, so sometimes you find yourself doing everything from building brand plans to shipping POS, and even writing taglines.?When you don't have big agency budgets, you just have to make-do.?But the agencies get paid the big bucks for a reason. It's IMPOSSIBLE to write a tagline!? As I was lamenting this challenge to Archer Roose Wines’ fearless leader, Marian Leitner-Waldman (she/her), I was expressing the contradictions we face, and it started to sound familiar....reminiscent of one of the most iconic?scenes in recent cinema...the now infamous America Ferrera speech in Barbie on how difficult it is to be a woman.?Now, not to minimize the trials of womanhood (I should know), but writing a tagline is definitely difficult. And Marian had a genius idea: write the script for the homage to the Barbie scene, and maybe the tagline will come!? And ladies and gentlemen, it DID.?And then when I begged the incredible Elizabeth Banks, our co-owner and CCO, and Marian, our co-founder and CEO, to act this out on film, they graciously agreed, and might I say, nailed it.
