Earlier this month, our team embraced cider to the core by representing The Boston Beer Company, Angry Orchard, and the Angry Orchard Cider House in Walden, NY at American Cider Association's annual CiderCon. This inspiring hub for learning, networking, and tasting brings together cider industry professionals from across the globe, including some of our own coworkers: ?? Jill Westra took her sustainability expertise and passion to the stage for a panel on "Sustainability & Waste Reduction for Scaled-Up Cideries" ?? Kathleen Amaral was recognized for becoming a Certified Pommelier, an amazing accomplishment, especially for a member of our sensory production team ?? The Angry Orchard Cider House team from Walden sponsored a sold out New York Cider Association industry event featuring 13 different producers Reflecting on CiderCon, Head Cider Maker, Joe Gaynor said, "there is a lot of positive energy across the country for the growth of cider in 2025 and into the future. We are in a fantastic position to lead this growth!"

We have a star-studded panel of experts across brewing, sensory, research & development and product design that are regularly tapped to judge award shows near and far, including the highly acclaimed Copa Latinoamericana de Cervezas Best of Show panel. It's tough work evaluating 150-200 samples over a 3–4-day period in destinations around the world, but it’s a rewarding experience for all involved.
