Her outstanding research, which focused on identifying key barriers Ethiopian students face in accessing global opportunities and providing actionable solutions, stood out as the best. Makda is a PhD student at Addis Ababa University, with prior experience in Norway. She is passionate about orphans and vulnerable children. Through her work and volunteer experiences in orphanages and childcare centers, she has witnessed their challenges firsthand. She also enjoys creating cartoon art for children and using painting as a form of expression and therapy for trauma. This competition was highly competitive, with over 100 participants presenting incredible ideas. We took plenty of time to carefully evaluate every submission, and we were truly inspired by the creativity and passion displayed by all our competitors. Her innovative strategies, particularly in leveraging technology and mentorship, were truly inspiring. As the winner of 10,000 ETB, her ideas will play a vital role in shaping the future of Born To Win Global Initiatives. Additionally, we are proud to welcome Makda as our new Brand Ambassador!
