Last Thursday, we had the honor of attending Greater Giving’s Gratitude Reception, joining supporters and benefactors to celebrate generosity and impact. Greater Giving is a fellow nonprofit that encourages self and community healing through the power of connection. They have supported BCI's mission through donations and are a 2025 annual partner. Jacob's determination speaks volumes. He worked at Jack in the Box for two years, but when COVID hit, circumstances made it impossible for him to stay. After a long period without work, he connected with BCI for competitive employment services. Jacob landed a dishwashing and food prep position thanks to our excellent partner at McAlister's Deli - St. Louis. Their dedication to supporting people with disabilities made all the difference. Jacob was beyond excited to rejoin the workforce and has big goals. With the new concrete floor poured and saw cut, Production Supervisor Sheena and a few other team members got an exclusive sneak peek at the new addition to our Lincoln County facility today. The project is right on schedule—and anticipation is building! This expansion will be completed shortly after the first of May, bringing even more opportunities for growth and efficiency.
