Surrounded by croplands, the town is also home to the beautiful Parvati River. ???Growing up around farms, agriculture has always been part of Sunandini’s daily life. Seeing the dedication of farmers, dairy workers, and laborers gave her a deep appreciation for their hard work. Her grandparents, who were also farmers, inspired her to care about soil health—not just for better crops, but for the environment and the people who rely on it. ???As a Backend Developer at Boomitra, Sunandini focuses on building reliable systems and useful features that support both the team and users. Her work helps ensure a smooth experience for everyone relying on Boomitra’s platform, from farmers to rancheres to credit buyers. ???Sunandini gained her expertise through hands-on experience with backend technologies, databases, and cloud infrastructure. But she also credits her growth to collaborating with different teams, learning new problem-solving approaches, and continuously expanding her technical skills. “Every day is an opportunity to learn something new—whether it’s about a new technology, a better way to approach a problem, or how to build solutions that make a real impact. Last Friday, Boomitra had the honor of hosting a delegation from the National Climate Change Secretariat, Singapore (NCCS) at the Boomitra headquarters in San Mateo. The visit was led by Joel Tee, Director at NCCS, and coordinated by Ji Inn Wong, Regional Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). Our CEO Aadith Moorthy and COO Satya Satyamoorthy had insightful discussions with them on how soil carbon solutions can drive climate resilience, support sustainable agriculture, and contribute to Singapore’s bold climate ambitions.
