Boombalatti's Handcrafted Ice Cream

Announcing Boombalatti's Carolina Beach! We'll be bringing Wilmington's favorite ice cream to the Pleasure Island in Spring of 2025. We'll be located in the brand new Proximity Carolina Breach, a luxury apartment community and chic retail destination on Lake Park Boulevard. We can't wait to serve our handcrafted ice cream to the fine folks of CB!

Mother's Day weekend is fast approaching which means it's time to unveil our seasonal flavors that we churned with mom in mind (but are positive the entire family will enjoy.) First up: Strawberry Pretzel Pie. Inspired by decades of potluck dessert tables we decided to pay homage to the best of the best. Our version starts with a cream cheese ice cream with swirls of sweet strawberry jam. The best part? The salty, buttery, pretzel crumble layered throughout. Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk: What's more delicious than a fresh chocolate chip cookie? How about a brown butter ice cream featuring piles of chopped up chocolate chip cookies with a touch of sea salt finish it off? We thought so. Lemon Blueberry Donut: This is a collaboration with our friends from Wilmington's own The Donut Inn. We churned up a tart and creamy lemon ice cream and then added loads of their blueberry cake donuts and finished everything with their impeccable lemon glaze and a little freshly grated lemon zest. These flavors are available now at all shops and are available for nationwide shipping on our website! Order before 2pm on Tuesday, May 7th to have them in hand before Mother's Day on May 12th!

Whether you celebrate Valentine's or Galtenine's (or BestPalentine's?) we've got the flavors for you: Chocolate-Covered Strawberry, Raspberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch, Vegan Raspberry Chocolate Chunk, and our Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Boom Bars will be around for another week or so. Once they're gone, it'll be 11 long months before they return!
