    Founder-engineer; search nerd; platform scaler

"When testing for relevancy, is it best to test against the most frequently asked queries, or to choose a subset of queries that may not include those that are most frequently asked?" Engineers?do love?to answer with "it depends," but for this one, I am going with the equally unsatisfying, "Yes." Sometimes hard to think of myself as having much to say about search relevancy when I get to hang out with folks like?Doug, Eric, and Max. But then someone asks a "best-practices" question, and I find myself looking at 1,000+ word answer. So in the spirit of sharing is caring, here's my take on sampling queries for relevancy testing. It turns out this was just the tip of the iceberg, and I feel like doing more blogging, so if anything in here strikes your curiosity, send me a message and I'll spend some more of my morning coffee breaks writing!
