Last week, Bonsai Robotics had the pleasure of showcasing our autonomy in action with citrus growers in Murrami, NSW, Australia. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to engage with such forward-thinking growers and partners. Huge thanks to The Citrus Congress, The Gallard Group, Orchard Machinery Corporation, Air-O-Fan Products Corp., Insero, and Morricom Orchards for helping bring autonomy to the orange grove!

Had a great day at the Australian Citrus Congress, showcasing Bonsai Robotics vision-based autonomy on an Orchard Machinery Corporation AR500. We demoed a hydraulically driven Air-O-Fan Products Corp. 4600L GB2/32 blast sprayer with Insero variable fan and pump control—highlighting how intelligent automation is shaping the future of orchard operations. Please reach out if you’d like to see these products in any tree crops.

“The form factor was designed with autonomy in mind. So from an ROI perspective to a grower, you’re saving on labor but you’re also reducing, for example, the need for the number of shakers by up to half or 30%. So there’s a huge capex reduction.” Thanks AgFunder for the write up!
“Nowadays, if companies are not using AI or advanced computational technologies in some form, they’re probably behind the ball...” #robotics #agrobotics #AI #artificialintelligence #automation #orchards #fruitgrowing
