Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a beautifully adorned environment brimming with fresh fruit, flowers, and a vibrant feminine spirit. This was followed by an hour-long slow flow session, a delightful brunch, and an engaging workshop led by @myflowology.? ? It’s crucial that we take the opportunity to celebrate the women in our professional environments, particularly in the fields of Architecture and Construction. Well-being is a key aspect of success for everyone, especially for those who also juggle the responsibilities of motherhood, partnership, and caregiving. BONSAI was engaged to install 2 Solar Decathlon homes and 2 modular shipping container homes in Aurora and over the past few months, we've made MAJOR progress! We are proud to work in partnership with Elevation Community Land Trust to bring more affordable housing to the Denver Metro and we couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. From the details in the roof, to the custom colors throughout, this install has truly been a pleasure. These have turned out nothing but functional, stylish and have clever and visually appealing design elements throughout. Next up - Landscaping! @elevationclt? ? Kids loft anyone?! Our clients had a brilliant idea to build a kids loft above their new addition featuring a playroom, two new bedrooms, and a new bathroom. This space has high ceilings, large windows, and beautiful fireplace to warm the home this winter! Popcorn and movie night coming right up!

We have recently been engaged for an addition / remodel in the historic Hilltop neighborhood in Denver! This project will consist of an addition to the rear portion of the home with minimal street frontage impact to compliment the existing architecture; creating a timeless, seamless transition into a larger brighter space. We are excited to share this journey with you along the way!

Our Architectural Designer Brandon took a long weekend out in Mesa Verde National Park in the southwest corner of Colorado and shared these photos with the team. Mesa Verde has been a NP since 1906 and has more than 4000 archaeological sites and over 600 cliff dwellings built by the Ancestral Puebloan people. MV is estimated to have been built in 600 to 1300 AD. A detail shot from Balcony House shows how ancient building methods share similarities with modern methods. Notice the largest wood beams at the bottom, as the super structure, followed by perpendicular layers of wood fibers and finally a top coat of hardened?mud?as?finish.
