We’re excited to celebrate the recent launch of Empowering PDX, a multiyear community solar project making clean energy more accessible! In partnership with Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF), community-based organizations, and workforce organizations, this initiative expands solar opportunities for communities that need them most. Last week, we celebrated this milestone, and the day before, we visited a future site where a 2.1 MW solar system will take shape! This project wouldn’t be possible without the support of the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF). We are deeply grateful for their commitment to funding community-driven climate solutions that create a more just and sustainable future. Innovation in Irrigation Water Management -?Request for Information (RFI) Business for Water Stewardship (BWS) is a BEF program that helps businesses work collaboratively with community stakeholders to advance solutions that ensure people, economies, and ecosystems have enough clean water to flourish. BWS is pleased to offer this Innovation in Irrigation Water Management – Request for Information (RFI), which seeks to further advance partnerships with irrigators, water managers, and the agricultural technology sector by identifying new opportunities to apply and scale innovative approaches to water management. This RFI invites applicants to submit information about innovative water management projects that can be deployed within and across multiple target watersheds. Based on responses, BWS may select some respondents to provide more detailed proposals that will be considered for funding through corporate partnerships.
