Looking for an experienced, well-rounded & technically astute SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR well oriented in the Baltimore/Washington Marketplace in commercial construction who will join our BoMark Team! Looking for that leader with at least 5-10 years of estimating experience---big and small. Comfortable with Commercial electrical estimating of all types of commercial projects including schools, hospitals & federal work. Not just someone who talks the talk but truly has a track record of excellence and success. The type of Estimator that is passionate about the electrical industry and building great things. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record, quality standards, and effective relationship building, while mentoring with the team & project leaders. Familiarity with Baltimore Industry and the surrounding counties. Last, but not least, we are seeking a leader who is always keeping an eye out for innovative ways to increase our performance, efficiencies and successes on all levels JOB DETAILS: The Estimator is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all estimating functions, including development of project budgets, estimates, cost tracking and project support for all divisions. Check out the Sherman Hall Renewal This renewal project partnering with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company will fully renovate all aspects of Sherman Hall to meet the needs of the university for the next 30 or more years.?Sherman Hall houses more than a dozen departments, classrooms and a lecture hall. The scope of work includes: Replacing the building envelope with a modern, high-performance enclosure to create an energy efficient building in accordance with UMBC’s Climate Action Plan Replacing and upgrading the Mechanical, Electrical and Life-safety systems to meet or exceed current building and energy codes. Replacing and upgrading the technology components Upgrading the accessibility, elevators and security Upgrading the furniture and finishes throughout to improve the experience of all users with improved acoustics, daylighting, views and spatial reconfigurations.
