Our rural school district is big on opportunities while offering individualized attention in an ideal environment to meet the needs of each individual student. Teachers anecdotally highlight the many benefits of combining younger and older students in the same building revealing how helpful this practice is in nurturing a sense of identity and responsibility. March 5, 2025 Dear Bolton Community Members, I am reaching out to you because the Bolton After School Program (BASP) is working to raise money for a new playground set. The current playground set, purchased in 2016, has seen a lot of love and needs replacement. We have identified a playset at Garden Time. Unfamiliar with the BASP? We are open to all students in the Bolton Area, providing a quality After School Program for Pre-K through 5th grade students. We are open Monday-Friday during the Bolton Central School calendar year. The Bolton After School Program is proud to provide a safe, nurturing, supervised environment where, through daily structured programs, the children are encouraged to work and play together with a focus on positive academic and life skills. We are asking our community members to help us reach our goal of $10,000.00. The Chelka Lodge has generously offered a match of $1,000.00 dollars. Earlier this year we received a $500.00 grant from the Norowal Community Contributions Award Program. We are on our way and are doing some of our own fundraising, but we need your help. We have identified a playset at Garden Time: RL-3 Sports Tower. The $10,000.00 will allow us to cover the cost of the playset, delivery and assembly, site work and the cost of two basketball hoops that are age appropriate. Please help us to reach our goal.
