The small, charming city of Ennis, Texas is 25 minutes south of Dallas and is home of the official Texas Bluebonnet Trail. The City of Ennis showcases over 40 miles of mapped driving to see fields of the Texas state flower, the bluebonnet, bloom each April. As the official Bluebonnet City of Texas, the city chose to incorporate customized cast iron bollards with the Texas bluebonnet flower adorn on top, making the perfect statement for the city's completed downtown revitalization project. We worked with the city and MESA Design Group closely to finalize their unique bollard top design and to-date we have supplied Ennis over 100 customized bollards for their downtown.
