Wrapping up an incredibly inspiring week with Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast taking in the sights, sounds, smells — and seafood — of Southwest Florida. So gratifying to see their work, protected lands, and the ways they engage their community, and most of all, to spend time with the talented staff and board. We are so thrilled to amplify the launch of the first ever Impact Report for the KNP Complex Fire Recovery Fund for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Bold Bison had the privilege of partnering with Sequoia Parks Conservancy (SPC) to develop fundraising materials in support of the recovery fund, including the publication of this report. In the process, we learned so much about the work being done to support these ecosystems—and got a personal tour of Sequoia National Park from a park ranger (h/t, Leah S.). Many thanks to the project team Tamara B. Marks, MS, Nicole Acord-Stivers, and Savannah Boiano for their partnership throughout the process, as well as to our go-to collaborator alison kleiman for the design work. Anyone who has ever experienced the majesty of a sequoia grove will understand how devastating their loss is. We're so glad to be a part of efforts to help sequoia forests adapt to the changing climate and to advocate for greater protection of these beloved trees. Bold Bison is thrilled to help introduce Farmers Rising, an organization by farmers and for farmers. Farmers Rising—formerly Angelic Organics Learning Center—creates space for farmers to learn from one another, grow their businesses and their practice, and to connect with eaters, partners, and advocates for local food of all ages and walks of life. We have so enjoyed working alongside their team this year, and especially co-developing this brand with those trusted to stewards the process: Jackie de Batista, Brad Kemp, Rashad X, Allyson Rosemore, and Yatte Moore. And a very special shout out to our close collaborator alison kleiman for yet another tremendous brand design.
