The sound of getting the right fit! Our helmets are equipped with multiple ways for you to get the right fit with Bold Helmets. Here’s how to get the best fit: Place the helmet level on your head with the fitting ring open. The bottom edge of the helmet must rest 1-2 finger-widths above the top of your nose. Use the adjustment knob to tighten or loosen accordingly. Please note that for some kids, removing the comfort foam padding attachments may provide the best fit. The chinstrap must be pulled taut but not too tight. You should be able to still open your mouth slightly when the buckle is fastened. The correct position for the fastened chinstrap is underneath the lower jaw between the point of your chin and your throat. You will only ensure optimal protection if your helmet fits just right.
