This St. Patrick’s Day, we’re celebrating by sharing a collection of BōK Modern projects featuring bold green finishes — showcasing how color can elevate architectural metal systems and enhance the built environment. Whether adding a vibrant accent or blending seamlessly with natural surroundings, green finishes reflect both creativity and a connection to nature. From perforated screens to custom guardrails and facade systems, these projects demonstrate how color, texture, and precision fabrication come together to create memorable architectural moments. BōK Modern Wallscreen Systems: Innovative solutions for exteriors, parking garages, and vine screens. Our Wallscreens are designed with precision laser cutting, offering versatility in patterns, shapes, and colors. The integrated panel structure often reduces the need for secondary framing, with direct mounting options to slabs or existing structures. We're also proud to introduce our new Bracketless Garage Screen System, which mounts directly to the top of slabs or beams—no embeds or brackets required. Key Benefits: - Larger panels for longer spans between supports. - Natural ventilation for parking garages with patterns offering over 50% openness. - Supports climbing plants with our Vinescreens? system. - Effective sun protection for glazed areas. Staggered panel installation extends span distances, reducing secondary structure needs. Let’s create seamless, functional, and beautiful architectural solutions together.

Our team developed an innovative 3-story staggered scrim system that ‘hangs’ from a single structural row at the roof, requiring only minimal lateral support pins along the building’s facade. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM)’s custom diamond-patterned design, finished in white Kynar, adds a sophisticated illusion of depth, transforming the otherwise flat screens into a dynamic architectural feature that plays with light and shadow. Making an impact with architectural metals in Seattle’s Africatown Plaza. “Standing tall in the heart of the Central District, the roots of this space run deep. It’s a home built for us, by us, with every line and detail echoing the rhythm, resilience, and beauty of Black life in Seattle while also reaching back to our ancestral lines in both architecture and design. Every wave and corner tell the stories of where we’ve been AND where we’re headed. The Plaza’s infinite patterns reflect the many infinite possibilities of what the future holds for our community and cast a vision of what it means to truly belong and find home.” – Africatown Community Land Trust We were honored to partner with the team that brought this project to life.
