The Boise Metro Chamber was first organized in 1883 and is the 252nd accredited Chamber in America with the Chamber of Commerce of the United States. The Boise Metro Chamber is a parent organization of the The Boise Valley Economic Partnership and the Boise Convention and Visitor's Bureau. Together, the three entities serve the business community by assisting with the creation of jobs, attracting new businesses to the region, and enhancing the quality of life for businesses and families, and showcasing Boise’s vibrant, active, and unforgettable landscape. The Boise Metro Chamber currently serves more than 2,000 members and 120,000 Idahoans in areas of education and advocacy, leadership development, and networking. We host nine councils, committees, and boards; five leadership programs and groups; nine networking opportunities and groups; and more than 50 events each year.
