Record Breaking Year!! The Boise State CM Students had their best performance ever at the 2025 ASC Region 6&7 competition in Reno Nevada. Six out of our eight teams took home a trophy!! Two-1st places (Commercial & Mixed Use); Two-2nd places (Heavy Civil & Concrete Solutions) and Two-3rd places(Design Build & Project Management). We are so proud of the students and thankful for all sponsor companies!

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Boise State University Department of Construction Management along with a donor representative from John William Jackson Fund (JWJF) and The Idaho Youth Education Recycling Partnership (iYERP) had the pleasure of presenting 4 scholarships. They are proud supporters of Boise State University Construction Management program. Recipients: Marco De Anda Hernandez - Recipient of the Construction Management Scholarship in memory of Scott Zamora. Macy Grafton - Recipient of the Construction Management Scholarship in memory of Dick Wilcomb. Ruben Loera - Recipient of the Construction Management Scholarship in appreciation of McAlvain Companies Inc. Emily Elliott - Recipient of the Construction Management Scholarship in memory of Todd Wolf. Boise State University Department of Construction Management and Construction Management students appreciate all of their support!

CM Broncos Abroad! Recently, we sent two student teams to Dublin, Ireland, to compete in the Associated Schools of Construction Region 8 International Competition. We ended up placing 3rd place overall in the commercial competition! Congratulations to our students, and also a big thank you to the following people and organizations for hosting the event - Walls Construction Limited , Sonya Meekel, Jimi Johnston, Technological University Dublin

Throwback Thursday, remembering this summer's 2nd Annual Western States Equipment Golf Tournament. Huge thanks to the Western States team and their donation of $32,000 to the Boise State Construction Management Building! Full video of the golf tournament within the shared post. And that’s a wrap! The Boise State Construction Management CMA student chapter constructed a concrete ball wall at High Huskies Elementary School in Boise, ID. The elementary students will now enjoy playing numerous ball games during recess. As always the CMA managed the entire project and delivered a safe and successful project. Congrats CMA students! We wanted to send a huge shoutout to The Beavers Org. for inviting us to The Beaver’s day job walk last week in Boulder, Colorado. Hosted by Kiewit and Barnard who are on a joint venture contract for the Gross Dam expansion. Also, thank you WW Clyde for letting us walk the tunneling project as well in Fort Collins, Colorado. We had an amazing time and truly appreciate it! -Faculty members BJ Albertson Matt McDowell and Bruce Larabee led the out of state field trip with 19 of our Boise State University Construction Management students.

This week we sent 20 of our students down to Boulder, Colorado to partake in The Beavers’s Student Day to take a look at the Gross Reservoir Expansion Project! The job’s contractor is a joint venture between Kiewit and Barnard Have fun broncos!
