Our Engineered Wood Products (EWP) team recently hosted a two-day Joint Innovation Summit with our partners and thought leaders at D.R. Horton. The summit took place in Louisiana and included a site tour of our EWP plant in Alexandria and a forestry tour. Creating a culture of innovation is one of our Company’s strategic priorities, and we’re proud of the work our associates and innovation team members are doing in this area. Huge shout out to our Engineered Wood Products (EWP) team in White City, Oregon! Led by the hard work and determination of their maintenance team, they recently graduated from the five-year Strategic Energy Management Program with the Energy Trust of Oregon. The end result was saving 2,690,689 kilowatt-hours and more than $160,000 in avoided energy costs. They also received $117,277 in cash incentives. Outstanding work, White City EWP team! ?? ?? ??

There’s some makeover magic happening in Hondo, Texas, where construction on a new BMD distribution center in Hondo, Texas, is more than halfway complete. When work wraps up by early August, the previously vacant site will feature a new distribution facility with 204,000 square feet of warehouse space and approximately 11,500 square feet of finished-out office space. #boisecascade #buildingcommunity #buildingmaterials #building
