A fantastic mass timber project is in the works at Boise State University. The ESI Construction Management Building will be an innovative space for the next generation of construction management leaders to grow and thrive. We're thrilled to take part!
Last week Boise State University broke ground for the ESI Construction Management Building, and Boise Cascade is proud to provide the mass timber for the project. The state-of-the-art building will be the first on the BSU campus to solely use mass timber, which is an innovative wood product used to build structures that are durable, versatile, and cost-effective with a lower carbon footprint than steel or concrete. “Boise State and the College of Engineering are institutions built on the power of partnerships and collaboration,” said Amy Fleischer, Dean of the College of Engineering at BSU. “Our partners, like Boise Cascade, showcase the support and commitment it has taken to bring the ESI Construction Management Buiding to life — a space where innovation, education, and industry come together to build a better future for Idaho and our nation, and empower the next generation of construction leaders.” We are proud to be part of this exciting project. #BoiseCascade #WoodProducts #MassTimber #TheFutureIsWood Boise State College of Engineering Boise State Construction Management Lombard/Conrad Architects Engineered Structures, Inc.
