Flock Together: A Community United for Crescent Duck Farm At Bohlsen Restaurant Group, we believe restaurants are more than just places to eat—they’re gathering spaces that bring people together in times of celebration and challenge. This past week, we were honored to be part of Flock Together, a fundraiser in support of Crescent Duck Farm, Long Island’s last commercial duck farm, which has been devastated by Avian Flu. What started as a simple idea quickly turned into a powerful community effort. Chefs from across New York and Long Island generously donated their time, food, and talent. Farmers, purveyors, and beverage sponsors stepped up without hesitation. Guests showed up in force, proving that when one of us faces hardship, we all rally together. In just over a week, this collective effort raised more than $50,000, with 100% of the funds going directly to the Farm’s displaced workers. It’s an incredible testament to what’s possible when a community unites. But the work isn’t done. If you’d like to help, donations are still open through GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/4dbf2b2a). Every dollar goes directly to the displaced workers as they navigate this difficult time and Crescent Duck Farm works toward rebuilding.
