We are pleased to announce our second cycle of 2024 Rural Catalyst Grant recipients! These capacity-building grants are used to support rural nonprofit organizations participating in our Rural Leaders Collaborative. Grantee projects include educating stakeholders in rural communities about the National Zoning Atlas, expanding the Leadership Montezuma program to offer comprehensive leadership training in Montezuma County, and many more! Our team had an amazing time at the National Scholarship Providers Association conference in Salt Lake City last week! We networked, presented sessions, and attended inspiring talks. We're back with new connections and tons of fresh ideas! ???? At our recent board meeting, Center for Leadership staff, including our student team, had the chance to connect with board members, share their work, and highlight our accomplishments over the past year. What a great evening of civic engagement at our semi-annual Beers and Blue Books Event! 2007 Boettcher Scholar Greg Sobetski walked Alumni and Scholars through Colorado’s 2024 ballot issues, making sure everyone left with a better understanding of what’s at stake this November. As a nonpartisan staff economist for the Colorado General Assembly , Greg is responsible for coauthoring the Blue Book ballot guide mailed to voters before each statewide election. We love creating opportunities for Alums to share their expertise with the Boettcher Community.
