For Boeing Intelligence & Analytics’ (BI&A) October Employee Highlight of the Month, we’re excited to spotlight Nicole McElroy, a dedicated member of our team with 15 years of experience supporting government customers, both on contract and now as a Proposal Manager and Communications Strategist in Business Development. Over her 8 years at BI&A, Nicole has contributed to a diverse range of projects that enhance our business development, staffing, and marketing efforts. Some of her recent accomplishments include: - Proposal Management: Nicole successfully led proposal efforts for multiple high prominence campaigns, as well as producing impactful whitepapers and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs). - Innovative Presentations: She designed a comprehensive 25-page presentation slide deck for the 2024 DoDIIS event, showcasing BI&A’s capabilities in OSINT and emerging technologies. - Marketing Collateral Creation: Nicole crafted both web and print materials for the Opportunity Nexus career and lecture series, which resulted in 18 on-site interviews and meaningful career discussions. - Summer Internship Program Leadership: As Product Manager for the 2024 Summer Internship Program, she guided a team of five Computer Science interns and a teacher extern in using agile methodologies to develop a GenAI tool. - Website Management: Nicole continues to refine our public-facing website a project she initiated in 2019—ensuring alignment with our parent company's brand identity. Nicole’s background in User Experience (#UX) empowers her to adopt a human-centric approach, allowing her to streamline complex processes and translate technical concepts into accessible solutions. She is known for her ability to connect cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency. Her positivity and creativity shine through in every project she undertakes. At Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, we believe in empowering the next generation! This summer, we proudly collaborated with the Fort Meade Alliance to host externships for six dedicated teachers from Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) and Howard County Public School System (HCPSS). These educators gained invaluable hands-on experience in the cybersecurity field, enriching their classroom lessons with real-world insights. The experience not only enhanced the teachers' knowledge but also benefited the companies by integrating educators' unique perspectives. Teachers returned to their classrooms equipped to connect applications to their lessons, emphasizing the importance of preparing students for future careers in technology and cybersecurity. Round of applause for Boeing Intelligence & Analytics' (BI&A) September Employee Highlight of the month! For our September Employee Highlight of the month, we honor Nicole Hopkins. Nicole has dedicated nearly 10 years to our BI&A team as the Project Outreach & Collaborations Coordinator. Nicole’s role is pivotal to the growth of her program as she spearheads collaborative projects that connect our customers and BI&A, creating vital opportunities for subject matter experts across the enterprise to share best practices and drive innovation. With over 23 years of experience working with the United States Department of Defense, Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge to her position. She has garnered her bachelor’s degree from Widener University in Hospitality Management and a master’s degree from American Military University studying International Relations. Additionally, as a Civil Affairs LTC in the US Army Reserves, she currently serves as an instructor at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Belvoir, VA. Nicole has seamlessly integrated her expertise in special operations and event planning into her work at BI&A, especially in her collaborations with the Defense Intelligence Agency. Her strategic approach to events and media fosters efficiency and innovation across organizations, serving as a crucial link between end users and development teams. We’re grateful for Nicole’s leadership and commitment to bridging the gap between government, private sector, and academic modernization.
